ConfirmedZheravna, Kotel and Elena
This is the trip I started with twelve years ago. In Zheravna we stay with a family who welcome us like relatives, and in Kotel the carpet museum and the best banitsa I have ever had are waiting for us.
Programme
Day 1: Kotel and Zheravna
Departure at 7:30, coffee in Kotel and the carpet museum. Zheravna in the afternoon, Yordan Yovkov’s house and a dinner of spit-roast lamb.
Day 2: Elena and return
A breakfast of mekitsi, a walk around Elena and its old school, a lunch of Elena ham and the way back to Varna.
