The terms in short
Booking and payment
A place is held with a 30% deposit by bank transfer or in cash when we meet. The rest is paid up to 14 days before departure. You get a document for every payment.
Cancellation and changes
Up to 30 days before departure I return the deposit in full. Later on, if you find a replacement or someone is on the waiting list, I also return everything. For trips by air the airline’s terms apply.
Organiser and insurance
Trips are organised in partnership with a licensed tour operator listed in the Ministry of Tourism register, with compulsory tour-operator liability insurance. Demo text — to be replaced with the real details.
What to bring
Comfortable shoes, a raincoat and a good mood. A week before the trip I send the Viber group a detailed packing list for the season and the route.
People often ask
Can I come on my own?
Of course — almost half of a group usually travels alone. If you like, I will pair you with a roommate of the same gender so you do not pay for a single room.
Are the trips suitable for older travellers?
Yes. The pace is calm, and for every route I say how much walking there is. If you need anything special, just tell me beforehand.
Can I bring children?
On most trips around Bulgaria — yes, from age 7 up. For younger children I offer a trip made to order.
What if the group does not fill up?
A trip runs with at least 8 people. If we do not reach that, I let you know up to 21 days before the date and return everything.
Where do we leave from?
From Varna, outside the Cathedral. On some routes we also pick up in Shumen or Dobrich — the stops are listed with each date.
